thats great jane, i have got 6 new goldfish in my pond, clarice said its the same depth as hers so should be ok over winter, so will see, i also have snail eggs on my water soldiers, im so thrilled its coming alive ;o))

Hi Amy...She took the brood to the river yesterday late evening Amy.Time to face the big wide world.....miss them but at least they had a good start..:o)

You will miss them Jane but as you say they had a good start , you gave them peace and quiet the safe haven they needed at the time .. I have a feeling mum will be back another year to visit you again ... my three male ducks were sitting on our roof a while ago ! .. .

We get a pair of mallards every year, but they nest round the bend of the stream just out of view - sensible birds! We sometimes see the babies. I think they've upped and left now, though. No chance of photos! :-((

They are so secretive Spritz...they have to be.......

How did I miss this? Hope it didn`t go too badly on the Monday. . The picture is fantastic.
