As you can see only just flowering here but a lovely plant so wildlife friendly sure it will be appreciated during winter months.

Ours too Dawn but the heads have a way of pointing upwards despite that aye Sixpence we have such a selection inc those bees that cut perfect semi circles out of leaves.

I get bees on my teasel, hoping to get some more seed of mine to grow some more next year, mind you dont know if they come back every year, but will get some seed just incase.

Jane, I've checked my horizontal teasels today and you're right, the flower heads are vertical :-)

Maybe the weather, here, in Glasgow, but we seem to have a shortage of flying/pollinating insects in recent years. Even houseflies are scarce.

Same here Mouldy....definitely low on bees etc last year....despite trying to plant to encourage ! Still will keep on trying though..

We were importing honey from as far away as China, a few years ago.
Was that due to a bee shortage, 'cos I know that's a prob we have, or was it something to do with GM?
I can't seem to recall, Bonkersbon.
