Oh well at least it gives a clear view to your visitor, the Goldfinch with the branches of the tree being dead. He looks like he's surveying his kingdom! lol

Lovely little birds are'nt they, the gang of pigeons that have invaded my garden are keeping most of the little birds away;0(

Glad they've returned to you, Sanbaz. Isn't it strange how they suddenly reappear?

Lovely pic. Little birds are starting to arrive back in my garden, but looks like the Magpies are back too. Neighbour cut her tree down and Magpies left us alone, but they're back. Nice plump ones too.

thanx linda, lots of magpies around here and pigeons also sparrow hawks ;o(

Beautiful Goldfinch, Sandra, my neighbour has a dead tree at the bottom of his garden, bare branches, but the birds love to perch in it. Robin and Blackbirds singing away in the evening, lovely. He says he'll leave it like that if I like the birdsong !

thanx shirley, thats nice of your neighbour, never thought the birds would like the bare branches, guess they have a clear view without leaves ;o))

Lovely to have the goldfinches back. Good photo. We get them when the thistle seeds have matured in the fields over the back.

Seen goldfinches recently on the conifer next door - but all the little birds are about, couple of blue tits on the balcony the other day, looking for food, must be cold enough to put back the bird table for them, clean all the feeders and set 'em up. I take them all down during the summer months for cleaning, but have been so lazy this year that I've not cleaned them yet!

linda thats what i put out for them, they love it to ;o))
bamboo iv been lazy with bird feeders to, iv got to give mine a good clean ready for winter, but cant have them out on the station as i use to because of gangs of pigeons, shame but i still have two feeders about that pigeons dont bother with,
