yes its a jay ~ the blue flash gives it away ~ if you could hear it scream you would recognise it too!!! but so far GoY is thankfully free from sounds!!!!

Well caught, Sticki. I love to see these birds up in the woods (and hear their cries) but I have never managed to get a good photo. Maybe one day... :)

Well captured St, they are very handsome birds we see them quite frequently visiting the garden and in the woods;0)

Haven't seen a Jay for some time. We used to see them at this time of year down the road. Good photo. It's snowing again today. I am sick of the white stuff....hope it melts soon. America are getting a right bashing with it today.

had 2 jays over the last few days but still cant catch them on camera!

At last I can see the gren grass..the snow has melted.....

ours hasnt gone yet ~ its melting but we still have about 3" deep across the lawn
