No, lovebirds don't talk, Sanbaz, but they do mimic noises. Poppy does a nice smoke alarm and a trilling telephone :)

Hello Poppy!! What a lovely girl she is Gee...same name as my pusscat...Lol! And a new home for her, no wonder she's pleased!

She is gorgeous Gee and looks very pleased and happy with her new cage , is she likely to have a boyfriend ?

I did think about a mate when I first adopted Poppy, Amy, but because of the difficulties of telling males from females I decided against it. It was only because Poppy laid eggs that I knew she was female. They can be quite aggressive if they don't like their mate :(

Ahhh Poppy is lovely gee.... hope she is enjoying her new cage.....

She is enjoying it too much, Holly, she has just started laying another batch of eggs, 3 so far :)
