They are a lovely shade of blue

It was horribly cold last night, and this fellow is one of the smallest...he's not as small as he looks in this picture, though Janey. And if I'm not mistaken the look in that eye says "I'm not doing very well."
The picture was taken thro my laundry room window...and it was hard to focus because of the window screen. Most of the pics I took were of this fellow too, besides being smaller he is also less lively.
They must have known it was time to feed, that a storm was coming. It's like a lace curtain out there...more snow! I'm fed up with winter...so's the 'jay!

he does look fed up....i think we are all getting itchy feet now waiting for the spring....hopefully wont be long now..:-)

thanks Sheila...I'm hoping that I may attract some Cardinals...they are bright red (males) and with the bluejays blue...it makes for really good pictures.

Lovely plumage colours Lori. We have Jays but they are a pinky brown colour with dashes of blue white and black.
