Very beautiful Mossy.

It seems a lot emptier than your previous photos Mossy. Did you loose plants during that awful winter?

I can see your lovely red rose bush that you posted photos of a few days ago...still blooming :)
You've re-designed some of your garden after the winter damage...is the water feature a new addition? It doesn't look familiar to me. I suppose it is your cordelyns that make your space look less full...still a beautiful space.

For me, it's the theatrical/fastasy atmosphere that makes your garden so special Mossy. The way that clematis has been trained over that arch, the pruned shrub on the right, the attention to detail with the hard landscaping and water feature...it is like a film set for fairies! I just love it! :))

Karen has described your garden so well....a film set for the fairies :) Let's the imagination and mystery run riot.

Hello Tetrarch,
Actually the garden is not emptier, it is just that this photo was taken from one of the wooden seats looking towards the bottom of the garden and you cannot see all the plants that are on the right.
The tallest cordelyne that I lost during the winter in this area has been replaced with a palm tree.

Hello Whistonlass,
Thank you for your nice comments, the rose that you refer to is not the rose I posted a picture of a few days ago. The one I posted is growing on the arch with a white rose and pink clematis armondi.
The one on the ground in the latest picture will not grow more than 1 metre and makes masses of small red flowers with yellow centres (the bees love it).
Both the fountains have been here for a few years and sadly 'No' the garden has not been redesigned yet, I have a project, but it will be for next year.
The garden is not less full, it is just the angle of the photgraph, you cannot see all the plants on the right. It is a nightmare to photograph this small garden.
