Thank you very much Scottish, Cinderella and Pixi! You're all too kind! :0)x
Drc, i have to say...I've got completely obsessed with this colour combination! I keep bringing home plants or seed with the same colours, I'll have to catch myself on!

All your plants in your garden look so healthy Elizabeth. how do you keep the lupins from being eaten. I have had to dig mine out and put them back in pots this year as they were totally stripped.

Thank you so much Sir Skip! Very gallant of you to say so!
Oh dear!, what was eating them, Rose? Was it those horrible grey greenfly? Or slugs? :0(

Wow love that Libet - nice contrast too of the dark heuchera. Mollis is great - our leaves have gone very big. Nice planting here

Thanks Paul! Sorry this is late!...I thought I'd answered you! Daft bat! I do really like this sort of contrast in a garden, but then again, there's nothing like a pale pink rose with lavender or catmint! There's a combination of plants for everyone! Thank you Paul, you always leave a lovely comment!

No worries Libet nice to say nice things - Mollis is one of my favs - we have dark Heuchera near the front and a lovely light coloured one in the sun :))) Our Lupin was so nice but died fast ): but can't win them all. Good to have dark with light colours to show all off :)))))))

Yep! Lupins are a bit like that! That's one of the reasons I plant them at the back, other plants can take over after it's gone! But cut that main flower spike back and you should get a flush of little ones later in the season.
