This pic was taken in 2003....and yes all the Kittens eventually were rehomed including Mum....we kept Snoball...the little White one nearest the Camera...

i bet! we had one cat that had kittens and at the time we lived next door to the school, kittens arrived at lunch time so we lifted our son over the back wall so he could see the new arrivals!!

When Twopence was about to give birth, I made a nice spot for her in our then Caravan at the time...nicely private, and she settled down, and so did I and waited...and waited, and I thought I'll just go and get a cuppa and bring it back with me....as I was coming back, there was Twopence waddling down the Path looking for me, with...wait for it ...the first born, which was our now 'Snoball', just poking out...anyway got her back in and settled, and she went on to have SIX beautiful kittens...That is how Snoball came to stay with us, it was meant to be....:))) she is eight now....

so glad i have had the cats, so many things to look back on, certainly enriches your life doesnt it. they are very special

A little bit of love goes an awfully long way. Well done Stickie. My little Dusty has improved a lot with Love and handling. She wants to keep going out but when I open the door to let her out it's too cold for her so she comes back in and sits on Gerry's lap for warmth. LOL.

Aww that's so nice, they know where they are safe, loved and cared for, for sure....:)))

She does an awful lot of purring now and every morning leaps up on to the bed when she knows we are awake and says hello. She sleeps in Twinkles old bed.

Elkie was sick this morning, and it's so hard for them to let you know how they're feeling, she is a quiet cat normally but seemed even quieter...Could be something she's eaten outside, a nasty...but she's stayed close by today...I have also wondered if animals suffer with SADS, ours seem to change when the weather changes to Autumn/Winter...

Dusty has irritable bowel but it's getting better now but she is sick sometimes and smells.....won't go into that one.....but think it's nerves with her. She has special biscuits.

It's such a shame, I had to see them under the weather...

Animals never cease to amaze me how they soon bounce back again and become their old selves again. Cats lick themselves and so ingest fur into the stomach and nature has it that they have to get rid of it somehow and so they sick it up in a furball sometimes.

If I ever have a scratch or something my Cats will have a good sniff at it then proceed to lick it clean...and make it better...:o)
