Wow!!!....thought he/she/it...was a pattern of frost on your windows.......gulp........

7 Nov, 2011

I thought he got stuck out in the frost!

I must admit,I didn't expect it to turn out like this,Lou..maybe I zoomed in too much ! Lol
No idea if its a he/she/or it ,but as it was a hair salon window..maybe a"she" ..bad hair day, being out in the rain Lol.
It does look like frost,Sticki, and I love its little suction feet :o)

Just brilliant! . . . . .

Thank you Amy,it does, doesn't it ?..It was so unexpected,as I just saw this tiny movement in the corner,so it was a very rushed job to capture it,before it disappeared....almost made up for not being able to see Valencia..A lizard and a shop doorway was as good as it got ! Lol.

Thanks Michaella and Shirley...worth the visit in the rain! L:o)

How exquisite is that little creature, thought Russel had been treating you to some jewellry Sandra, its a shame about the rain but then if it had been sunny you would not have seen this little beauty, the patterns are amazing;0))

Cool pic!!!!!! :)))))))))
Missed ya Bloomer!

7 Nov, 2011

I watched it for a while,Carole..and it would have been a lovely design for a piece of jewellry, wouldn't it ? ..it was actually a pale yellow, but I think with zooming in,I didn't manage to capture its true colour, although you can see a hint of it..
Thanks Pixi..glad you like it too..ta for missing me..nice to chat again..I looked at the Internet room on board, but too expensive for a short amount of time,so didn't bother..

Glad you had a good time :))))))

Thank you,Homebird..I remember that kind of brooch,as my Aunt had quite a lot of it..very pretty it was too :o)
Thanks Pixi..we had a lovely time..weather mixed, but some nice warm days too..sea was a bit rough a couple of times..especially at night, when we sailed between ports..It rocked me to sleep though..felt like the days when you had too much to drink and the room spun round !!..Going back a long time,,as I don't partake anymore.! :o)

He's beautiful Bloomer, what a great shot, it,s a gecko, we used to have them living in the house in Spain. Like Amy says I thought it was a pearly brooch at first!

8 Nov, 2011

Thanks Janey..I will now change the name from Lacy Lizard to George/Georgina Gecko ! LOl.

Hi Bloomer, I though someone had made this out of cotton and crochered it.

Fantastic picture Bloomer, one of my grandson breed similar in the UK. They do however look a lot better running free

22 Nov, 2011

thanks San,blingy suits him well :)

Thank you Tom,I agree..I hate to see anything in cages..whatever it is..not how it was meant to be..although some seem indifferent and happy to be there,if they are well cared for..

22 Nov, 2011

Hi Bloomer I think that if a creature is kept confined, as long as it's kept clean with regular feeding and let out of it's environment for a stretch of its legs once a day to have some sort of freedom then that's o.k. but wild things should really be in the wild, but these days it's not always possible because the land has been built on.

22 Nov, 2011

I agree on that aspect of it,Linda..but some poor things never get out of there cages,do they? So sad..those are the ones I feel for..although I can also see the need for conservation for endangered species of wild animals..it still seems wrong to keep some of them in cages..and I hate zoos !

22 Nov, 2011

It's like a prison sentence isn't it Bloomer and they haven't done anything wrong either.

23 Nov, 2011

They all have that 'bored out of my mind' look to me,Linda..with glazed eyes..

23 Nov, 2011

Don't know how I missed this, he's so cute Bloomer...

27 Jan, 2012
