you are very kind all of you ~ kev, scottish, sheila, pixi, bloomer, paul and surreylad. there are lots of them in the butterfly farm ~ makes it really easy to photograph ~ although there were several that never kept still so i couldnt get a good picture of those

its not a large camera ~ they are too heavy to hold; its a canon powershot G10 ~ it works like an instamatic if you want it to or it can do more complicated things ~ but i still dont know how to use it all properly.
about 4 and a half inches by 3 by 1.

Ohhh thank you for giving me the secret info. Your camera sounds posh!! Envy you, Sticki. I wish I could afford that kind of gadget! Mmmn, but.. I wouldn't be able to handle a high tech thing like yours anyway if I had one (pearls before swine? lol hehehe).

not high tech ~ you can do it all on auto if you like, i had it for christmas about three years ago and have probably used it every day since ~ never had so much use out of a christmas present!!
