The only time I have seen one of these up close was in 1999 when I found one in my bathroom in the handbasin, sadly injuried. I think one of my cats must have bought it into the house & it must have got away & taken refuge in the bathroom. As it was late evening & no vets open, the only thing I could think of doing was to take it to my next door neighbour, who was a Dr. When I went across the next morning, the poor thing had died during the night.
