i planted it last year amy, it has possibly trebled in size!! there were little berries at the bottom ~ on the old growth at christmas.

It has Homebird , Sticki your shrub has done well to treble in size since last year , mine hasn't grown very much at all this last year ... only looking Meanie ???

Yeah - I bought some Galtonia bulbs instead. Winter shrubs are no use to me, roll on summer!

Mm nice, I've been reading about them they grow to a good height which is what I like !

I had G.candicans last year which hit 120cm. Had to buy more as a; they were so nice, and b; I put a trowel through one when I lifted them!
I also have G.viridiflora for this year too.

What a shame you ruined one Meanie ,I'm going to look out for some I love tall plants in my herbaceous border I don't think I know The G.v I will have to look that up ... ....
They do smell lovely Maureen and nice to have something in flower this early , We show a nice plant /shrub and temp each other to buy i'm afraid thats how it works :o)

Well thats just what I like about Goy Amy. Nothing quite as good as personal recommendation. It beats anything you read in books! Ive been eyeing these up too. Everyone comments about the delicious scent. Is it as good as everyone says it is? (I know you are quite big on scented plants.)

If you want a small shrub Poppy it's ideal ,it's evergreen and has black berries later on so another interest it likes most conditions , partial shade to deep shade , full sun tolerated , a good all -rounder , the scent is a bonus :o)

I have 3 of these delights and the perfume is so nice.

Its nice to add this to a vase in your home.

You will find room Sue squeeze it in, Lol ... Thats an idea Scotkat I wouldn't have thought of putting a piece in a vase with some other flowers :o))

Ours had grown so much over last year in the front garden it will have to be moved to the back, it had been really slow for the last 6 years....now where on earth can we find a space large enough.

Another winter beauty Amy...I was looking at these at the GC the other day, wow, that scent is incredible!
