Lucky you!! I have just posted a question here wondering whether my hostas should be showing..........they obviously should!!!
What a lovely idea for planting them.

I just thought it rather 'ironic' with them being snail shells. I have a slightly saller one as well. I also topdress them with empty snail shells from the thrush's anvil in the garden.

Ha ha love this SBG are you hoping that if the snails get sight of the big one they will stay away from your hostas:)

Love the irony!
You've given me an idea - bird table surrounded by loads of snail baiting plants.

sense of humour in planting hostas in a shell. Meanie if you do that you'll have to put up a sign for the thrushes, stop here for a bite to eat.

I have 2 of them dd2. the only draw back is they have no drainage so they have to be taken in during the winter to stop the frost breaking them.
I'd love more but don't know where to get them from.
where did you get yours?

We must have bought it at one of the local nurseries, have never seen it again, but I think ours does have drainage holes, must check, it does stay out all winter!
