Love everything about Rheum Brian, gunnera was my favourite but Rheum are earlier and tougher. Even better as I've grown them from seed.
Hi Kathy, I hadnt thought that the rain had helped :). Yes, a flower spike :). Have 3 with flowers coming.

Fleeced the garden - and covered Gunnera - never thought I'd be doing this in May - as low as minus 2 here where we are - Scotland minus 6 !

Its so lovely to see those large plants in a very natural invironment, you`ve done a great job Dawn hard to image a small seed growing into such a large plant, bet you feel proud.
