How could I not open this one from the thumbnail!
Cracking shot - it would be worth a fortune if it was a Damien Hirst!!!

That's wat my pics looked like!!!!!!! LOL damp weather make it worse Pims? keep cosy!

Oh Pim! You poor soul - I am having little twinges of sciatica at the moment, and those are bad enough - I can't begin to imagine how yours must be, but it's making my eyes water just to think about it. Nothing seems to help when it's that bad, does it?

The edge has gone off it now G..been walking since 3am because it was to painful to sit or lay in bed. Not feeling quite as sorry for myself now, but no never had pain like this before.
Look at the state of that picture lol...the moon really was there, honest.

Groovy pic...
Sorry about your pain Pimp, it isn't fair you have to suffer like this.
8 May, 2012
Very cool, looks like an electrical storm.
Feel better soon Pimp :(

Not sure what I'm seeing in this photo, P?
My sympathy on the sciatica, btw. Dreadful, that pain. An osteopath sorts me out when I get it. Well worth the money!

Thanks all..Not too bad at the minute.
This was a picture of the moon peeping behind the clouds, it was actually really clear Oji. I am not allowed any physio until I've had an MRI scan....Not sure I can cope with it yet either.

So what are the pretty squiggly bright bits? ( sorry, am I being totally thick here? )
8 May, 2012
A street lamp and a bathroom window I think..

I wish you early recovery, Pimpernel. However, I do not see any Moon here. Too hallucinogenic :)

thanks Kat.

Looks like you were twitching when you took this one Pimp...
8 May, 2012
Oh my..I was. It should look very like the picture you got. I took six and this was the clearest lol..

Oh Pimp, I didn't know. Hope it all works itself out soon. x
9 May, 2012
Thanks Amy n Lu...Good day today, I even limped round the garden centre.
9 May, 2012
reminds me of a plasma ball, amazing.
hope that pain is gone now.
9 May, 2012
Did you limp home with anything interesting? I went to a GC today and came home with 4 2nd hand glass paperweights for the garden. They look tres cool!
9 May, 2012
they sound nice lulu, be great reflecting light from that super moon!!
9 May, 2012
As long as you didn't come back empty handed, nothing worse. I managed x2 Hollyhocks and a sambucus black lace. Went to Morrisons and got 4 glazed pots.
Saw some glass baubles like in your blog Sticki but not as nice.
9 May, 2012
i got that sambucus the other day pimms, seen so many lovely ones.
9 May, 2012
Was that the one we saw in Webbs, Sticki? I must admit I was very taken with it - such wonderful colour. Honestly, there's no stopping you, is there?
Glad you had a better day, Pim. Just don't overdo it.
9 May, 2012
Thanks G. I won't trust me. I think I have got the the timings right on the pain killers.
9 May, 2012
Good start! Someone needs to take care of you, and it's better if it's you!
9 May, 2012
quite possibly gattina but i bought it at the plant stall in the jinney ring.
9 May, 2012
Ah, well, same difference!
9 May, 2012
lol :o)
10 May, 2012
I wondered what I was looking at. People would pay a well known name quite a lot of money for a shot like this. Hope your back gets better soon and that the pain is kept bearable by the pills.
13 May, 2012
lol this could be in for the Turner prize - so long as you give it some deeply "significant" title
13 May, 2012
Fran@ hello after some time...for those who do not know-what is Turner prize given for?
13 May, 2012
Arty-f*rty stuff, Katarina!
13 May, 2012
Lol. Reminds me one artist in the Czech republic, but I think he had less lightenings in the scene.
Turner prize is named after Ted Turner? I hope no!?
14 May, 2012
Nooooooo!
14 May, 2012
:))) Relief.
14 May, 2012
lol
14 May, 2012
The Turner Prize is awarded for "conceptual art", Katrina, and has had some contoversial winners - Wiki explains better than I can!

I found an article on "supermoon" on the BBC news pages, and was going to post a note for all photographers, never got round to it, glad you did!
that's an interesting photo, like the trails from camera shake - reminds me of when we'd try to draw pictures in the air wiht sparklers while a photo was being taken - maybe you could have a go at "light sculpture" again, but on purpose!
sorry to hear about your problem leg, what's the cause?
