Thats a great idea Gee looks perfect as a plant stand;0)
P. S the Heucheras you sent me are ally doing very well, I am keping them in the large pot this year but will be able to divide and replant next year, are these on your new plant stand from your visit to the flower show?

Did you notice that there are now Heucheras that trail Gee when you looked at Vicki's Web site. I havn't seen any at the GCs Iv'e been round. They would look nice in your top pots. What a good idea. At least you don't have to water them today!!!! Never seen such a terrible 'drought'.

I have a couple of heucherella's that trail, Dorjac, and they are in my 'bird feeder' - appalachian trail (lowest green bucket), sweet tea(lighter one at the top) and Yellowstone falls (in the blue pot at the bottom). I am still waiting for them to start 'hanging out' :)

I have Sweet Tea, it is huge, so would probably gracefully hang over the edge of the bucket. Mine is perched on top of a chimney. Didn't realise there was a trailing version. It is a very vigorous, colourful Heuchera.

Looking good. Great plants that seem to grow anywhere. I took a few cuttings last year and they seem to be o.k.

I am just curious, but was it safe during recent winds?

It is metal parasol base, Katarina, so it quite stable although the buckets move a bit! The plant pots at the base help too :)
