beautiful,i wish my borders looked that good.

There are no roses in this bed DD, - the large pale pink/white shrub behind the pokers is a Deutzia, and the coloured ones behind the Heucheras are Sweet Williams.
I love your garden Suey and you have more success with Lupins than I do. This year only one has appeared.

So glad you like this. Its my first Heuchera bed, its in full sun and I have got away with it being such a bad summer. But I think I should move them in the autumn to a shaded part of the garden.
27 Jun, 2012
Quite a lot of my heuchera like full sun...are yours all for shade?
27 Jun, 2012
Oh right Bornagain, no possible not all shade lovers, I will look them up and see which could stay in this bed as I do like the colour they give here. Thats quite cheering thanks for that.

I found mine were better in a bit of shade,Denise..especially the Georgia peach type shades..but the dark purples seem to be fine in a brighter situation..My neighbour has one in full sun,and it looks good...no fading at at all..

When I'm not sure, I look on Plantagogo site..... it tells you everything including whether each one likes sun etc, in fact everything you need to know and they hold the national collection of heucheras heucherellas and tiarellas. Be warned though, you may end up buying more! I'm moving Cascade Dawn as it goes very floppy in shade. My marmalde loves the sun too:-)
28 Jun, 2012
I should do that,Ba,as I saved Vicky's blog and pics on Faves..might take a look later .thanks for reminding me :o)

That was so helpful Bornagain a great site. At least 8 of mine need shade or partial shade.
