I bought this plant last year and it has performed brilliantly this 'summer'! I will definitely be growing more next year :)

Hattie's Pincushion is the cute name for this plant that I cannot get to thrive in my garden. In my cousin's sandy soil in Cheshire they flourished. They made healthy clumps, for me, they sulked. Someone gave me a ruby coloured, very large plant, for our ruby wedding....didn't make it through the winter even.

Love the name 'Hattie's pincushion', Dorjac, reminds me of Hattie Jacques! I thought this had disappeared until it suddenly sprung up again.
I will try splitting it, Amy, should it be done in spring or autumn?
