We have this Pimpernel really been great - long lasting flowers also the slugs have eaten most of our Ligularia rocket too :(

I ABSOLUTELY HAD to mow the lawn today - well most of it but about 1/4 of it still has surface water.....how many slugs nestle in the blades of long grass? Hundreds - and most of them all chopped to pieces with by the Flymo....OMG...it made me feel so much better I tell you!!!!! The ones which were too small to be hit by the blades - KILLED by salt bath!!!!!!

Lol Scottish...& ....Pixi I have moved about 50 of them with hard shells today and cleaned up about 20 corpses!

Haha scottish on a slug massacre! can just imagine- head back and evil laughter running at them with the mower ha ha haaa! lmao :o) i have flies everywhere but havent got any marigolds and i aint touching them with bare hands! ive give up manicures since gardening but thats just too far!

Leighanne - I don't do manicures anymore either :)) Hand cream is about as much as it gets nowadays! I can't put gloves on in the garden - don't know why but it just doesn't feel right.

lmao! i can imagine! no i know what you mean i dont like gloves for anything-except when i was careworker lol. i dont mind getting my hands dirty! :o)
