Autumn Crocus

These took me by surprise Slad ,I wan't expecting them yet ,they were peeping above the foliage of other plants ........

I love these Amy.....they seem to be very early this year?

I thought that as well Janey ,it makes you think of falling leaves and bonfires..... Brrr

Love them Amy but dont like the idea of falling leaves, Im still waiting for Summer to start!!

I have never heard of Crocus which grows in August...:)

Me to Carole the rain is putting a damper on our visitors plans for this week we usually have good weather when they come here on holiday :o( We have two kinds of Crocus Kat the early March spring ones and then these larger Autumn ones there are several varieties of these ....
