Found this 'Vaccinium vitis-idaea [cowberry] 'red candy' on a plant stall and rather liked it. It is an evergreen dwarf shrub growing to 25cm high.

Beautiful exemplar, but they are very demanding on soil and moist and enought sun, but not too much :)))

Does require Acid soil,looked it up,
They are red blueberies lol don't know what they taste like.

Sorry Brian, I didn't answer your first question, it likes humus rich soil, doesn't mind some shade which sounded just right for my garden, I think I read the berries were quite bitter?
It has small White bell like flowers on too.

I've no idea Sticki my blueberries don't stay on for long but then it is different plant isn't it . My Blueberry leaves have turned a brillliant red it will be interesting to see if yours does the same you must let us know ..

Very handsome plant Sticki, I don't know why, but it looks evergreen, obviously not though lol. Are you going to keep it in a pot?:-)

I think it is evergreen BA that's partly why I bought it, it's in the ground now!
