I do not understand this point, as I was on hospital duty each Christmas for almost 16 years. So for me each patient was an enemy after the midnight. Lol.

Hi everyone...can't believe where the Year has gone, can you...!!

We didn't have a great season due to the weather this year, (apart from the Veggies) but we've made up for it with two lots of decorating, long overdue, Hallway done, lots of doors, and OH has really done a good job on our Kitchen, a total revamp, which makes it more user friendly for me too....still working on the Kitchen but it's not far off the finish line...and there is enough room now to have a table and chairs in there too...+ a total revamp on the Garden...so not a wasted year...in spite of the weather....

Enjoy yourselves one and all, and give thanks for all our blessings....xx

Thank it was a very good year, Crissue. It is always encouraging, when somebody sees a lot of work done behind him? I am not the one this year.

Hi everyone, long gone are my drinking days Driad, I'll have a toddy now and again, but wine is something I've never liked....

OH put the outside lights up yesterday, we're getting into the swing of it...just the odd bits to buy now....Here in France, Christmas is just one day, Christmas Day, usually spent, by attending Midnight Mass the eve before, then a long meal after, and the day spent with Family...then it's back to normal...The celebrations come at New Year...we still carry our traditions over...but Boxing day is usually spent, relaxing eating, and watching TV...going for a walk, or drive out somewhere...No Family over this year, just the two of us, and the Pets...so less work...

Once we get into the new year, it will soon be time to start the growing cycle all over again...Looking forward to the bigger space for Veggies...more fresh produce for the season...yummy...

Hi B, so glad to hear from you, was just about to send you a PM...hope all is well with you...We're getting there, Dr came in this am...had a bit of BP, seems like I'm a bit anaemic, don't know why...proboably the blooming Arthritis...still kicking it lol...Just OH and I this year, so we'll relax and do what we want....Enjoy what ever you are planning to do, and let's look forward to our growing season with better weather for us all next year....xxx
