They are just cup cakes, Katarina, with chocolate icing, white chocolate button eyes, cherry noses, and curly-wurly antlers. Very easy to do :)

Sounds like a very good to tea or coffee. I just do not understand the term "cup cake"....Is its name related to the fact they are served with cup of tea or coffee?

'Cup cake' or 'fairy cake' just means an individual portion, Katarina but they are good with a cup of tea or coffee.

I only made those two to see how they worked out, Amy, I will finish off the rest tomorrow and take them round to my daughters to eat after our meal. They are a bit 'more-ish' though :)

He he...Gee! Saw some real ones of these at our local GC, such lovely faces, they were having a feed whilst Santa was busy giving out his gifts. None of them had a red nose though...not like yours...mmm...tasty!

Your grandchildren will love them, Neellan. If you check on Google there are several variations but I just made my usual chocolate buns and added my own ideas. One word of warning, make sure the curly wurlys are at room temperature - if you try to cut them straight from the fridge they shatter and end up all round the kitchen :)
