Hi Paul, belated happy new year to you! I spotted this one in bloom today ... shame it's facing the wrong way for me to see it from the window!

It's a real little beauty

Hello Yorkshire, I hope you and Ralph are both well and wish you a happy new year too! ... It's been really dismal down here for so long ... thank goodness for a couple of mild and dry days recently ... makes me feel better if I can spot little treasures like this Hellebore ... :o)

Lovely Shirley! I don't know why, but I'm never very lucky with these. They either just disappear or get eaten badly!

Read it and about to reply, Yorks ... :o)
Rose, I planted some of these Hellebores in 2011, in an area shaded by trees andonly receiving early morning sun ... they seem to like those conditions!
Thanks Paul, enjoy your evening ... :o)

Thanks all ... it is a totally grey and drizzly day down here ... one of those really dreary days where nothing is moving as no wind blowing ... at least the birds on the feeders are entertaining! Long-tailed Tits, Robins and Blackbirds all fighting for the same food ... :o)

Thanks for that , Shirley, I will have to try again!

You're welcome Rose ... sometimes a change of situation/location does the trick!

Beautiful photo, Shirley. How are you doing? Hope you are at home with the family.
On this pic there are all colour shades I like so much! Do you know the name of this one?
I have got from Brian several sorts of very nice Helleborus in seeds, he was so kind, so I am now so impatient waiting to see them growing from the frosty and snowy soil :)) These are first H. in my garden.

Katarina ... the label says Hellebore orientalis spotted hybrid ... that's all! That's kind of Brian to send you H. seed ... PM on the way to you .......
