Snowflakes in Devon

the camera has focused on the first bloom, looks really nice & so early ST!

thanks bampy, these have been out since december i think, on a south wall! but despite possibly 20 attempts i cannot get the photo i want!

suddenly they appeared here as well - couldn't see any before the heavy snow fall we just recently had.
and the picture is ok.
I noticed my camera doesn't cope with some colours when ISO is low. So I usually keep it on 400.

Like the green color in the petals:-)))

i think i tried it on several different settings kasy ~ still didnt work?

Just so lovely to see these and feel that Spring isn't too far away! Ours have suddenly appeared now that the snow has gone . . . still in bud today but the flowers won't be long now. I'll have the camera ready if the sun shines . . .

After seeing yours Sticki I had a look to see if I had any Snowdrops in flower.....I have one but not open yet. This is lovely with the green tips.

these are quite tall linda ~ the stems may be 10 - 12 inches tall?

mum has quite a good clump of them!

Sticki, I sent for 100 double snowdrop bulbs last year, in the green, and not one came up :(

oh thats a real shame GM ~ i thought getting them in the green was the best way?

i bought some ordinary bulbs last year to add to the snowdrops i had, i moved quite a few but it looks as though most have survived?

Agree with Bampy, Sticki.
You have allowed the lens to focus on to it's nearest point.
You may have done better to try and aim (Focus) the lens in between the two blooms. But I have to admit they are very pretty, and it's still a super capture.

have to keep trying i think treetop ~ thanks, trouble is these are nearly 3 hours away from here!

i havent got nice pictures for a while now. :-(( perhaps the camera is missing the sunshine too?
