Try to be optimistic - you might have them for years!

Gorgeous blue Dd.....you could take some cuttings for next year, it's such a shame when they don't winter over...saying that I have stoechas 'Fat head' in a tub by the door and it's been fine, just coming into bloom again now. I bought 12 angustifolias on Saturday, to fill gaps in the garden, and have rooted cuttings of dentata to enjoy later on....:))

Wildrose I will try, but past experience tells me me I will be very lucky to see them make it through a bad winter, have lost so many of the French ones...
Thanks San and Janey, we used to have Fat head Janey, a beauty. it could be our soil, it is quite heavy, and they prefer free draining, have been digging in some grit to help our other ones (which are Angustifolia) so far so good.

That's surprising they won't live through your winter. I though they were very hardy. This plant grows wild and gets to 5ft (1.5m) tall here.
