Wow,that's a big un,but so very attractive..and it's still a yes please for a few seeds...is this in height or spread,or both,Amy? just so I know where to plant..thanks again,you are a little star :o) x

The plant is approx 18" x 18 " Sandra I believe it depends where it's grown because I've had others that weren't this big ,the actually foliage is low it's the flowering blooms that shoot up that makes it taller , this one seeded itself in the veg plot where it has plenty of room to spread ..in the flower bed with limited space it might not grow so large :o)

It has very attractive foliage Sheila /Chris ,I actually went outside to measure it properly for Sandra it measures 34" high to the tip of the tallest flower and 40" wide so much bigger than I thought Sandra !

aw bless you Amy,I hope no one was watching you with a a tape measure! Lol.,..mmm,quite big then? I shall have found somewhere,by the time it has to be planted out,I'm sure..when is the best time to sow the seed,and indoors, or straight into the garden..?

Straight in the garden Sandra ,they seed themselves when flowering has finished .. The name is what I love about it Lori Lol ...

Do you remember Sid that was on here Amy, she sent me some seeds a few years ago. I grew them and then lost them, gave some to my neighbour and now their's are seeding back in my garden, lol. I love the name too. :-)

Haha Amy. Shame Sid hasnt been around for a while but her Silybum seed lives on! Talking of Hereford, I'd love a Beswick Hereford Bull for my kitchen shelf, haha.
