Found a lovely recipe on the internet for grape, tomato and apple chutney, just got to store for 3 months now!!

Bathgate they are all one variety.........
Petal I have to keep it in a dark place so I wont be tempted, if I cannot see it lol

I think it helps to improve the flavour and mature the chutney Sandra. Most chutneys need 1 - 3 months. I used to make green bean chutney a long time ago, don't bother anymore though.

3 months is usually the minimum time for a chutney to mature, it takes out the harsh vinegar taste.

Karen opened one of the smaller jars to try, lovely, if a tad sweet, used eating apples instead of cookers, will do half and half next time...?❗❗
