Lavenders and Lilies

Do you keep your dentatas frostfree during the winter janey? I lost quite a few of mine when temps fell below -5C but they selfseeded so freely that i was never without any.
They had the strongest fragrance of all my lavenders and certainly the longest flowering, from may till the frosts arriv e. I like the idea of growing thm as standard, could you poss post a photo of one in flower if you have one? Thank you.

The scent from them will be gorgeous I bet you rub your hands over them whenever you pass by . are these ones Ian started off Janey if so they will be special for you x

Yes I'm quite excited to see how things will be in a couple of months time, especially as I've forgotten what half the lilies are....lol!

Resi ~ yes, I did this last winter, the original larger Dentatas died over the previous winter I'm afraid. They do have a really strong spicy scent don't they...I'll have a look in my pics, I'm sure there must be one.

I started these last year for Ian Amy, they're still only small though, he really did have a magic touch with Lavenders and Dahlias...:))

I googled 'janey and dentata' on this site and found the ref to one of your photos from 28th sept 2010, " French Lavender dentata and Laurus nobilis". Worrying what google can do really...

A couple o months ago i googled something like i did your lavender search and landed on GOY,but realized i was reading somebodies private message to another goy member, it's that easy! gave me the creeps, yes big brother was in there too!
