Thanks , I think it is early I've checked with my list I took a photo of it in flower on the 27th April last year , I'll take note when it flowers this year ... !

Love the leaves!!, I had one pop up beside our pond last year, probably brought by the heron or mallards,it didn't have these lovely leaves though.

Kathy that was a nice gift maybe yours is to ' new ' the markings may become bolder as it gets older ... thanks Sandra I'm glad you like it x Gg Last year a second plant surfaced next to this one I'm hoping for some extra flowers this year :o)

I put a photo on GOY of it in flower last year Rose but will def. put another one on when it flowers again :o)

It does look interesting, I looked it up on First Nature who say it flowers Apr - June. Looking forward to seeing your pic when it flowers.

I love the markings on the leaves, Amy! If it flowers before April then you will be able to enjoy it much sooner! :-))

Hi Amy
looking at it makes me wonder why does the plant have brown blotches ? do you think its a strategy to stop animals eating the fresh leaves and gives it a bit of camouflage.

Thanks for that Amy :-), fingers crossed, I meant to collect the seed but forgot and when I remembered the head had bent over so hoping natures done the job for me and they multiply!

I'll put a photo on Gf & Balcony when it blooms , Gg thats a thought that hadn't occurred to me the brown marking do blend in with the leaves , I hope so to Kathy I'm not sure that I would be patient enough for seeds I should read up about it !
