Beautiful flowers. Similar to Fuchsia boliviana which I grew some years ago along with it's "sister" boliviana alba.

Yes, it really was vibrant, a beauty and so many tubular flowers. I'll look that one up Thorney..
It's a fabulous place to visit, so many plants like ours and a wonderful dry garden, I'll do a blog when I get home...

Well as tall as me..5.5...and about the same width...in the shade which they like which made the red glow..

Very similar to the Boliviana Thorney. I wonder if they're on the same latitude...shall have to check the atlas now..Ha ha.

Stunning Janey I shall look forward to your blog your photos are fabulous , It's nice to see you enjoying your family holiday and the sightseeing Xx

The boliviana are easy to grow from seed too Janey (from their seed pods) so if they're from the "same latitude" you could give it a try. Mine were about five feet tall too and went on for a few years but a severe winter put pay to them.

Lovely to see, Janey - thank you for sharing when you must be so busy! Is Hobart where your family live? Do you love it?! (I love Melbourne where my family live, except when the temperature reaches 35 :))

Thats really gorgeous! I really do love red flowers. Perfect contrast with green of course, but they are just so lush!
