Yellow Crocus in the sunshine

They are lovely, so I’ve no idea why I don’t have any! On my walk today I passed a front garden with a huge swathe of pale purple ones ... truly a sight for sore eyes 🙂.

the birds seem to have pecked mine. I will enjoy yours instead.

Mine haven’t appeared as yet, fingers crossed..bit, these are so vibrant and cheerful, Shirley.

Sheila, I had forgotten about the many Crocus I had planted last Autumn so was really happy to see these deep yellow ones. There are also creamy yellow and mauve/lilac ones with foliage but still in tight bud. Hopefully, with the warmer days forecast this week, they might just be brave enough to open!

Kate, I do think, for myself at least, that yellow is the colour of Spring. I dug up most of the very old tall Daffodils and replaced with shorter varieties and am looking forward to seeing them in bloom.
