Thanks a lot, Kate! 👍 I believe you identified it for me a couple of years ago but as I didn't write it down I forgot it's name! If I remember rightly you pointed me to an article in GW at the time.

Lots of lovely flowers for a small rose, Balcony.

Thank you, Lindak! It's just a shame I can't enjoy them for several more weeks! The strong winds of late have spoilt the display rather this year. Lots of petals have been burnt from the strength of the wind. I really love the colour of this beautiful rose!

Yes, it is a shame that the weather has damaged so many plants and fences Balcony. Do you cut the old flowers off so that hopefully you will get some more roses.

Yes, I do deadhead them once all the flowers are finished but not to encourage new flowers as this one only flowers once a year, it's not repeat flowering, so as to direct its energy into new growth for next year's flowers.

I have checked my flowers on my Canary Bird Balcony and they don't have the white round the edges like yours do.
Also, thanks for the Geum details. I have sent for Totally Tangerine. I may just have room to squeeze it into my border!
I have just been online and found your Canary Bird. There must be different kinds.
Yours is Xanthina var. Spontanea

Very pretty it is too, Balc. Lovely how it softens the railings, and wraps round them.
