Yeah she is pretty much in bits. She went home last night and wasnt too bad but she might come back here to stay tonight.

roasting here too ~ someone told me today that this is an eastern sky ~ meaning the weather came from the east and it has cleared and cleaned the sky ~ its a brighter blue??

Sorry to hear about your daughter,some men really are swines at times aren`t they,my friends fella dumped her on valentines day after sending her a bouquet of flowers and taking her to dinner, dumped her after the dessert needless to say she was also in bits.....garden looks good though, and I like the painted tootsies!!

Strange to say, my daughter and the father of my grandson have also parted last week...fortunely, we both look apon that as a good thing...

THanks Nana..Sarah is 31 this is the 4th time she has had this happen to her and she now thinks its all her fault, which of course it isnt. Just the way it is. Hope your daughters relationship lasts :)))

The ferns must sulk when disturbed Pixi...I started giving it lots of water a few days ago - scratched just beneath the surface today and there are signs of the fronds. So hopefully yours won't be far away :)

ha well..i was pottering about down at that part of the garden and there they were..about half a dozen of them! :)))))) things are jsut appearing up quickly now.
Been to Falkland palace with Sarah today but it wasnt the right time to go really..not too many flowers out jsut now! But it was a lovely day and it took her out of herself for a while..shes doing not so badly..hurt is turning to anger i think..poor lass. :)

Was nice for you to get her out and about for the day - she would have appreciated that. Hurt to anger - that sounds about right. Doesn't matter what you say though does it - we've all been there and done that, it's just hard when its your child going through it.

Well its not the kind of thing Sarah likes to do but she seemed to enjoy just walking about in the sun..and trees are always good for you somehow I think. Just put a blog on. No it doesnt matter..been there many times ..got the tshirt etc :)

Maybe everyone has different places that help them, for me it's the waves breaking on an isolated beach (favourite beach is on the isle of Harris)

We used to do a craft-fair at Falkland...the oriental poppies are spectacular when they come out... :)

I was at the craft fair there about 14 yrs ago lol...wow didnt realise it had been that long! I dont rememebr the poppies but i do rmrmeber the Delphiniums! A whole row of blue..spectacular!

I can see they've taken well...I was showing OH the new leaves on your Pond Lily, like a burgundy colour, very nice...we put ours in at last at the weekend...I took a pic of the Label...it's white with a lemon centre, should be pretty when it flowers...

I'm amazed at how many leaves and flowers this one produces..the other one only ever gives one flower but I sank the pot down to the bottom now so maybe thats what it neede..wait till you see there wont be room for them all and the poor wee fishies will have to live in darkness lol

I did think afterwards - tell your daughter to buy herself a small motorbike. You can always tell when a woman is riding, they have shorter arms !
