As a complete novice I now have some raised beds on an east facing wall, though sheltered from wind. I would really like to grow a summer jasmine, width is no problem but height limited approx 10'. Any suggestons please as there seem to be so many varieties, and does it mix well with other climbers, e.g. clematis, passion flower?

Unfortuantely, summer Jasmine and passion flowers appreciate full sun, so an easterly aspect would not be suitable. Some varietes of Clematis would be happy though. Other climbers that flower, eg Akebia and hydrangea would love that aspect, but both are rather a lot taller than 10'. You'd be constantly pruning to keep at the height you want.
