Wishing all GOYers a happy new year. I havn’t wrote a blog for a while. At the end of November we all had sickness and diorhea. I was at the top of the stairs when looking down. I remember seing the stairs spinning and the next thing i know i was at the bottom of the stairs. OH was calling my name, my daughter who had come the day before was holding my legs up and calling out to me. That’’s when i started to feel the pain kick in all over my body. Each time they tried to get me up, i passed out. Eventually OH and son in law got me to bed. After all that i got away with a black eye and bruising all over. I spent my 57th birthday in bed. We all spent the christmas period with very bad flue despite having all the jabs. Thankfully feeling much better now. OH had the swine flue and is just getting over it. Despite being a warm weather gardener i am looking forward to the new gardening year ahead. Havn’t been out to see the damage yet as i dont want to trample on the soggy lawn. It will all become clear in time so i am not going to upset myself now.
I would just like to end by thanking all you GOYers for the support, advice, recipes and quizzes you have shared with me through 2010 and hope 2011 is a good year for us all.

Glad you are feeling better now. We had flu over the holiday and a sickness thing. Everything is soggy today as we've had rain for most of the day. I did go to the CPL at Dalbery Lees and take some things for them to sell. Had a quick look at the cats, but I like the oriental ones. They said that they will ask around to see if there are any at the other centres. Just got a chocolate cake in the oven......

Oh dear, not the best place to be for your birthday, Rohima! Sorry to hear you had a bad Christmas too, seems like many Goyers have been unwell. Things can only get better in 2011. : o ))

Gosh Rohima you certainly ended the year in a sorry state. I sincerely hope you and your family are fully recovered now.
Nothing you can do whilst the weather is bad so you`re right to stay in the warm and not worry about the garden.
Best Wishes for 2011......
