Out and about in Pembrokeshire/ Carmarthenshire

Yesterday we had to go to Carmarthen and taking advantage of the drop in fuel prices we decided to come back the pretty route…
The flooding along the way shows how soaked the ground is after all the rain.a
I just love traveling along the Preseli’s. The views both ways seem endless.
With the wind howling the clouds raced across the sky changing the picture for moment to moment.
My chauffeur did well but as always I was glad to be home again
Hope everyone is fine after last nights windy storm..
Thanks for reading..x

I have been out there this week moving things that might blow about and damage the plastic on the tunnel. But I can only get so much inside. Applied polytunel tape to any weak spots nothing else to do now except wait and see.....

You certainly went the long way round Sandra! Lovely pictures. There wasn't any snow on the bit of the Preselis you can see form up the road here. As long as it stays up there I don't mind.
Thanks for the warning about next week - though forecasts for as far ahead as that sometimes can change. It may have blown itself out by then...Hope your tunnel stays in one piece.

Ah yes, I recognise some of those views ...
Don't know where the wind turbines are though.
I'm glad you had a pleasant day for your journey :)

We had to go to Carmarthen Hywel so we took in Newcastle Emlyn and chrymych on the way home...OH loves a magical mystery tour...:-)
10 Jan, 2015
Crymych was where I learned to ask for two black coffees in Welsh! Never had the chance to say it though - must go back one day and try it.

Come and try it in Ammanford Steragram :)

Stunning scenery, Sandra ... fab photos :o)

What would worry me Hywel is that they might answer me in Welsh and I should look very silly for not understanding them! Might be fun to come to Ammanford in any case though!

Ammanford isn't much fun Steragram. There's nothing there ... but the surrounding countryside is nice.
And I live nearby :D lol
