my dogs have not had much experience of this weather but have been out all morning enjoying it.
the tender plants in my garrden have all been put to the test.
tree fern.
agave.
cordyline.
aeonium zwartkop…..
will they survive? i’m not rely sure but will keep u posted.
on the good side of things me and my daughter lilly got out there and built a snowlady.
we are all inside now with a hot cup of tea. blodwyn the pup is now warm again.

You seem to have enjoyed the snow Sandra.
Good for you making a snowgirl. We don't see many of those.

Henry met snow for the first time in his life yesterday - and was NOT impressed! He sniffed at it and then came back in sharpish. Fine on our walk this morning, though.
Your three seem to have taken to it like the proverbial ducks...
I do hope your plants will survive. Let us know, won't you!

Lovely photos Sandra. So dont you get frosts either normally in your area? Pleased the dogs enjoyed it, my dog goes mad in the snow, she loves it. It's been lovely seeing all the tracks in the snow made by rabbits, foxes and birds these last few days too.

thanks Dawn, we usualy only get one or two mild frosts but its been a bit different this year. all tracks were ruined by my dogs this morning before i had chance to look.lol

Hi Sandra, thanks for the lovely photos. Love your snow lady.
In my village, we have been "taken over" by Polish people, they live in houses of up to ten people, all with their own rent book!
Passing the street where a lot live, I was amused to see three fully grown Poles capering about in the snow. They had build an enormous sitting down Bear, they were puting the finishing touches to the legs and boots. It looked enormous, it was well over six foot in height.
We have visited Berlin and they have bears all over the city, standing up, sitting down, on hind legs, they are outside of shops, Perhaps Easten Europe builds bears instead of snowmen.

Lovely photos. Sorry to see those Aeoniums. I have lost mine which were in poly tunnel. but it is more a sideline for me. I do hope they recover. It only sniwed once when we were at Nevern, but it took two years before they filled in the pot holes on the road to Carmarthen. Blodwyn is lovely. Hope the snow goes away quickly for you.

Glad you had fun out in the snow Sandra. I love your Snowlady. Your dogs seem to be naturals in the white stuff. I love your last photo of your puppy getting warm. Very cute.

Gilli we had a lovely morning thanks. the snow is all gone now. :-(( maybe get somemore later today.
Poaannua i no i've managed to save a few but have had to put the heat on in my succulent shed for the first time. the cactus and the agaves dont seem to care about the cold. the worst hit are definately the crassula and aloe...i've got over the fact that i've lost loads and am now finding it interesting to see which ones are surviving...

Hope all is well for your plants Sandra. The show has almost completely disappeared from Bristol overnight as we had heavy rain.
