Selling my cactus collection for charity.

I have over the years gathered quite a collection of cactus plants, 99 percent of which have been given to me. These include a large collection given to me by a total stranger Mr Ashton in 2009. Well here’s the thing I have enjoyed them immensely but my passion for their less spiky cousins succulents mean I need the space. So I have decided to sell them to raise money for a local charity The Paul Sartori Foundation. They help us to care for people at home especially at the end of their lives. So I thought I would show them off one more time…
they have had some amazing flowers..
Many have gone already and I will miss them..and of course some are staying but already the space is being taken by the other plants.
Thanks for reading…:-)
One question…Who names these plants???
lol

They are great Sandra - what a shame you have to part from them. If it was me I'd prefer them to the smooth boys but I haven't got room for them. Klinkerianus - the mind boggles! Did you know that Lobivias are named after their country of origin, Bolivia? Ouch...

Just a thought Sandra - would it be worth contacting the Cactus Society - unfortunately the nearest branch is Cardiff
anneehill@tiscali.co.uk. Tel: 029 2070 1500
There might be a new member trying to build up a collection.
