When the price is right.....

I had to go past my favourite gc so I went in just for a look see.
They had several bargains and of course what can you do?
Woodland cyclamen [C coum by the looks of them] were £1.49 down to 99p each. Pink and white flowers and some pretty leaf patterns too.
They also had plants reduced form £1.79 to £1.49 or 3 for £4. 3 Primlets went into the basket. I also noticed the 99p reduced to 50p stand, I chose 3 Heuchera Palace Purple, and an Ajuga Burgundy.
A rosy red/orange Primlet for the front hot border.
One of the 3 Heuchera, small but they will grow well.

Well done! Oh don't you just love a bargain? I wish my nails looked as good as yours SBG, after doing my winter project they are in a dreadful state :0

I always go to the bargain section Dawnsaunt as I have this compulsion :o)
Waddy no matter what I do my nails always seem to do ok. Annoying I know but they rarely split and I can garden with them almost 1/2" long. But when 2 break I just have to cut them short and start again.

Oh lucky you! :(

Hi Sbg, you can't beat that, nice plants, low prices = heaven, Derek.

I've been looking at the price of Intersectional Peonies, ouch. I'm envious of your nails too.

exactly Siris and I'd rather have plants than shoes and hand bags. probably easier to get past OH especially if they get planted before he comes home :o)

Nothing like a bit of subterfuge , SBG .
" Not more new plants !" " Just shows how observant you are , they have been there AGES , and you haven't noticed ".
Gardening white lies will be forgiven .

Just re read the label on the ajuga, its mahogany not burgundy. I'd be hard pushed to tell the difference though, wonder if the flower is different.

Totally envious of your bargains. In France everything seems to be 3 foot tall and in tip top condition, ie just come out of a polytunnel. They dont go in for the nearly dead, nearly give it too you corner. Apart from the bargain price it is such a joy when the poor wee things thrive.

I would be delighted to have all these and I love the colour of the little primula.

Great, I love a bargain. You have some nice ones there. Lidl were selling their primroses off the other day - 10 plants for £1. Whenever we go to B&Q I pop into the garden centre as there are often end of season plants greatly reduced.
