my favourite tree in April

On the corner of my street there is a beautiful white cherry tree.
from my garden I can just see it.
It is on a corner where the road bends around the 13th century church.
Brides often have their photos taken by it and it showers its petals like confetti.
It only lasts about 2 weeks but they are wonderful.

We have a huge cherry tree on the roadside along the edge of the field, it is a mass of blossom so so pretty just like your beautiful pictures, love the last one.

Hi Bathgate, It is a typical 13th century church I think it was started around 1238. the doorways are tiny. it holds only about 50 people. The bell in the tower calls the faithful to prayer at 9.20-9.30 every 3rd sunday. there are two other local parish churches in a group and they take it in turns to hold the services.
The tree is stunning Oliveoil and against a clear blue sky what could be better.

Lovely photos. I love the tree and the church. It was our turning point into your road. Hope you are both o'kay and enjoying the Spring as we are

What a shame! The flowering trees in the spring are only good for a few weeks each year then we have to wait till the following year to see them again!

The tree is beautiful, then I was distracted by the 13th Century Church. What could that be like?
