my favourite tree in April

The tree is beautiful, then I was distracted by the 13th Century Church. What could that be like?

We have a huge cherry tree on the roadside along the edge of the field, it is a mass of blossom so so pretty just like your beautiful pictures, love the last one.

Hi Bathgate, It is a typical 13th century church I think it was started around 1238. the doorways are tiny. it holds only about 50 people. The bell in the tower calls the faithful to prayer at 9.20-9.30 every 3rd sunday. there are two other local parish churches in a group and they take it in turns to hold the services.

The tree is stunning Oliveoil and against a clear blue sky what could be better.

Oh WOW! That is heart-meltingly beautiful! Its photos like this...of Old Cherry Trees and Medieval Churches that make me homesick for England. :) Stunning.

Its gorgeous Seaburn, can see why the couples want their photo's taken there, its good that the church is still used, so many aren't these days...

A breathtaking sight,Sbg..Chocolate box picture comes to mind..How lucky to have both these on the entrance to your street..ours is pretty good too,but not half as good as yours..it's stunning...

We have a lovely dark pink one in our street which flowers wonderfully every year!

its all over now until the autumn colours. something to look forward to though.

What a shame! The flowering trees in the spring are only good for a few weeks each year then we have to wait till the following year to see them again!
