As you know both my girls are getting married and Victoria’s future mum in law asked me to make her a quilt for her KS bed.
Well 3 months ago I started it and it is now done. I just hope she likes it as her son helped chose the fabrics.
It is 84″×84″ and is bound in a pale grey fabric which matches the back.

It looks fab, Eileen! I’m sure she’ll love it. You are so talented in this craft, not just a skilled gardener!
Ps. The colours are lovely, very good choices by your future son in law!

That's a prizewinner if ever I saw one! they just get better and better!

I do make them for other people, just the cost of the fabrics etc. Never charge for time as people just wouldn't pay it. This one comes in at £160 of fabrics and wadding.
A decent lap quilt is about £60, single bed £90, double £130 and a king like this one £160. Most of the quality fabrics are about £13-15 / m

Wow, it’s wonderful. I always enjoy looking at the quilting exhibitions that are sometimes a part of flower shows. Yours would certainly merit a prize, great colour scheme & pattern.
