Tut the wind is really blowing here today, pots blown over trees really bending in the wind, i hate windy days makes my Menieres worse, the summer flowers are going over a bit now must get out and cut back the Delpiniums, think i have got rid of the the Lily beetles the ones in the pots are ok the one in the garden has been nibbled rather badly but the flowers are ok i shall give up though if i get all this next year, i can’t be doing with picking off horrible little slug like things lol!!!
The baskets are coming along nicely, red surfina with a Fushcia in the middle but you can’t see it because the surfina has taken over lol
This basket has Petunia and Fuschia Dancing Flame, plus Fuschia Devonshire dumpling,
Petunias, Devonshire Dumpling Fuschia again, variegated ivy, and trailing lobelia.
The flowers in the pouch are Begonias, saw this idea somewhere decided to try it out some have not come through but should be enough to give a display, in the pot is a Clematis called Piilu ‘little duckling’, plus Nasturtiums and some self set things that i can’t remember the names of!!!
It has been a good year for Clematis lots of flowers even for the young plants,
the Teasels are HUGE!!!! the birds will be happy come winter with the seeds.
Hope this wind dies down soon, am fed up of picking up pots!!!! Enjoy your garden :o)

Your garden is doing well despite the wind. I hope it dies down though, especially if it has a bad effect on your health. We have lashing rain here lol...

Your pots and clematis are beautiful, SK. Sorry you've had problems with strong winds today. Makes me feel a bit guilty that I was so pleased with it! My washing machine had a fatal break-down this morning, full of water, towels, bedding etc. Made me wish I had an old fashioned wringer as I struggled with soggy washing trying to get it onto the line - but by this evening everything was dry :)
