Busy day again today they certainly work hard these ere builders, start at 8am and they didn’t stop until 3pm, they have smashed up the old concrete path that was under the living room window and laid the brick edging, put down hardcore on the patio bit and some slag dust then tamped it down with a machine that had the floor boards and my fillings rattling!!! Poor Rocky kept looking at his feet as if to say ‘what on earth is going on?’ lol
I like the brick edging he is using this is also going all round the edges of the gravel bit to keep it from spreading under the hedge and onto the existing path.
Tomorrow he’s hoping to get the rest of the grass up and hardcore down hoping to finish on Friday but if not he’ll come Monday and put slabs down for the patio, so far i’m very pleased with it :o)

A bit more tooth rattling and you`ll be there SK looks as if they are doing a good job - love the two tone brick edging.

As you say SK, they are fast workers! The brick edging is lovely, and it'll keep everything neat and in it's place! ... control freak...moi?! It'll be great!

i love having someone working at my house ~ builders, electricians, plumbers etc ~ i make cake for them, its someone to talk to!! i dont care about any mess ~ its a good excuse not to have everything done!!
