A wander round

After meeting my daughter at the chemist after her visit to the dentist (trouble with wisdom teeth ouch!) i dropped her off at school and decided as i felt so well today i would have a drive round and visit the local park. As i drove off from daughters school these trees caught my eye outside someones house, they are an absolute picture the photo doesn’t do them justice really, two magnolias and a large camellia covered in flowers, i must say the magnolias seem to be having a good year there are a few round here and all of them are covered in flowers.
From there i carried on to the local park, its called central park and is a picture this time of year, i didn’t have time to do it justice but will go back another day and take some photos of the flowers and the cherry blossom trees. There were lots of people walking their dogs and students asleep on the grass lol alright for some!!
When i got home i decided to put weedkiller on the dandelions which have flowered overnight!! or so it seems but i was stopped in my tracks when i saw a Peacock butterfly feeding from them, i have decided to leave a few for him to feed on for now (will probably regret that later!!) there isn’t much about for them yet though and i’d feel guilty if i got rid of them all.

Lovely time of the year for a stroll in the park, really gives you a different view on life, enjoyed your lovely pictures and pleased you left a few dandelions for the Butterfly!

If you have peacocks ours can't be far away SK :) Pass this park regularly and it's nice to see the fountain from the road now that they have removed the tall hedges that were surrounding it. Lovely photo's :)
