Pasque flowers and some blossom

Lovely sunny day today, so just took my camera for a walk. Pink pulsatilla
Purple and white pulsatilla
Prunus kojo-no-mai (dwarf cherry)
Spring mixture
Anemone blanda and Prunus kojo-no-mai
Circle through the long grass, which is not quite long enough yet!
My favourite Ranunculus (which I thought was an Anemone) – it’s flowered for weeks, so very good for £1.99 :)
Happy Spring gardening everyone!

Its beautiful. How are you planning to manage the grass area, with the long grass and the short circle? Just lower the cut of the mower? Never seen that done before, it looks interesting. Do you have grandchildren to race round it??
I love the anemones under the cherry. I bought one this year from Tesco, surprisingly, but its still in the pot. But I have Anemone blanda under my magnolia stellata (on my avatar) and at this time of year its the best thing in the garden.

Thanks Karen!
Hi Sue - because I love the look of a path through grass, we just leave the surrounding grass un-mown. It would be brilliant to see our granddaughters running round it, but they live in Australia :((
Yes, anemones are great, aren't they, and I bet your M. stellata is looking gorgeous: I'd love one of those!

Lovely spring garden Sheila. Lots to keep you very busy too. Beautiful weather for some of us too, for days on end. Now needing a bit of rain to fall.

Sorry about the grandchildren Sheila - you never know, perhaps the fairies will run round it at night...
You should certainly invest in a stellata - brilliant value!

lovely Sheila, your prunus is much further on than mine. The pasque flowers are gorgeous aren't they. I treated myself to some more last week. The ones that have been in the ground from the last couple of years are putting on growth now. hopefully they will flower before the end of the month.
some really pretty vistas in your garden.
