I do love these Osteospermums

So happy to see this Malva moschata alba . . .
. . .and my Anemone ‘Wild Swan’
Golden Wedding rose from Steve last year
Geranium Patricia
Campanula glomerata
Nigella
Pieris ‘forest flame’ with Petunias, next to Imperata
View of pink/purple bed
Happy gardening everyone :)

So glad you are able to get out and enjoy the garden Sheila. Its gone back to cold and windy here again today, although it has been nice and sunny. I took some photo of the roses as they are beginning to bloom at last. I love those swan river daisies and the osteospermums have always been a favourite of mine, but not too great for scottish climate I'm afraid.

Sheila, those Dianthus are beautiful and I love the Osteospermums. Tell me, will you cut down the Hesperis when they have finished flowering? I have had to remove some of mine as they grew so well, to the point that I couldn't walk through the 'wild flower' bed!!

Thank you Siris, Karen and Shirley!
Shirley, I want the Hesperis to self-seed, so I wonโt be cutting them back just yet; maybe in the autumn or when they look โpast itโ?

Lovely photos Sheila :) That Malva is lovely but I hope it behaves for you. They spread like weeds in my garden.

Thank you Kidsgran.
Thanks Hywel . . . Iโll be happy if the Malva misbehaves!

Thanks for the Hesperis info. Sheila.

It really is looking like 'your' garden now and has so many pretty plants.
It is a lovely place to be.

As long as it doesn't misbehave too much Sheila lol :)

Thank you very much Chris :)
Hywel - it's strange, the Malva has made much bigger clumps than in my old garden . . . must be happy, lol!

It's looking stunning, so neat and tidy and a beautiful immaculate lawn by the looks of things. Your toning flower bed is lovely, I'm a bit of bright mix person, but I do always admire the toning ones. The Campanula glomerata is a lovely colour.

Thanks Honeysuckle . . . because I was starting from scratch I was able to try different colour themes in different beds . . . but by chance I now have bright pink in the cream-and-blue bed, so I'm beginning to be more relaxed. The pink/purple bed is fun though because there are so many shades of each colour!

So much color and that wonderful path to lead you around. I love how you used the stones to add texture and interest

I enjoyed the tour very much - especially the white Dianthus (on my shopping list). Any idea what the green insect on the rose is? He's got a grand pair of feelers!
22 Jun, 2019
Thanks Sue. No - he has the legs of a grasshopper but too small, so I can't help you!

Your garden looks wonderful . is the insect a cricket? lovely colour combinations.
