A handful of terrible photos on the 19th August!

I was taking photos of some bonsai for our granddaughters in Melbourne, Australia, because they have each recently bought a dwarf tree (Chiara, 10, and Frankie, 7).
So I just took a few more photos of plants that are in flower because I haven’t posted for quite a while …
White Agapanthus through Phisocarpus diabolo d’or and Blue Agapanthus behind Loropetalum
Nicotiana for a bit of perfume in the pergola
Verbena ‘Bampton’ covered with bees, and Perovskia
Salvia ‘amnesia’ ha ha (bee on the right)
Deep pink and pale pink perennial Sweet Peas climbing up Cornus ’Eddie’s White Wonder’
Mingle: white Lobelia, blue Nemesia, pink Calabrachoa
Thank you for humouring me! I promise to try and take better photos in the future :)

Agree with Eileen - were not all professional photographers! Just seeing your lovely pics and all the beautiful colours is good enough for me, Sheila!
I do love nemesia, I had one several years ago and the scent was just wonderful!!! Loving the pretty pink sweet peas clambering up and through the cornus too!
Very pretty mingling all over..

Warmest thanks Julia and Kate for your generous comments 🙂.

Lots of gentle colours there Sheila and the bees are really enjoying themselves..:))
Hope the family in Melbourne are weathering the lockdown still. Jim and family in Sydney are fed up, but as long as they're safe, that's what matters. x

Thanks Janey. Yes, Chiara and Frankie are really missing school - they’re up to lockdown five or six … losing count. Home schooling is hard for all the family, but I gather the girls can FaceTime their friends most weeks. At least we can see them on Zoom every few weeks, but it’s not ideal 🙁. Like you, no idea when we can all be together again, just have to keep hoping. x

You made me laugh, I often end up with terrible shots, then I delete them off my laptop, the joys of digital, you have some lovely plants, blurred or not Sheila its still good to see them, I think our enjoyment comes from actually sharing our pics, as said we are not all professionals or would ever claim to be...

Thanks Lincs … I think you’re right 🙂.

You have some nice plants in your garden Sheila. Your Agapanthus is doing better than mine with no flowers at all.
Your photos are fine, it isn't a competition.

You have a very nice selection of flowering plants there! What a good idea to have the perennial Sweetpea climb up into the Cornus! 😃
