Nice to see some more of your flowers, Sheila! My Bishop's Children Dahlias are flowering now on the balcony as well. I have orange & a very dark red.

I like that "Dishy Mingle"! πŸ˜‚

Lots of lovely colourful flowers still blooming wonderfully, Sheila! I love that bright purple aster! A real eye catcher. The dahlia is a real pop of sunshine too!

A wonderful selection ,Sheila, and I too, love the Dahlia,'Bishops Children',the Asters, especially the one with the Japanese Anemones, and the Lavender Geranium is so pretty too. I forgot all about Bacopa this year (senior moment) as I do love them, and they seem to last much longer than Lobelia, which is what I got instead, this year. Memo to self,to make a note ! You have such a pretty well kept garden, it's a credit to you :o) x

Your plants are looking pretty good close-up too Sheila, lots of colour still.
Your Coreopsis or Corydalis is actually Caryopteris :) I can never grow it so I am envious of yours lol ...

4 Sep, 2021

Thank you so much Hywel, now I know and will try to remember Caryopteris! :))

5 Sep, 2021

Put a label with it Sheila, I have to do that otherwise I tend to forget.

5 Sep, 2021

I did plant a Caryopteris once & it died on me, but a Cerotastigma is still growing strong & flowering at the moment, but it really needs to be in a sunnier position. Still, it's a nice blue.

Sheila, I'm about a week behind on blogs and photos but am trying to catch up now. Michael is watching highlights of a footie match, no idea which one!

You have some smashing plants in your garden, I do like that Dahlia and the Salvia. I wonder if you have watched GW from last night yet? If not, look out for the man with the Salvia collection!

11 Sep, 2021

Thanks very much Shirley … yes, I watched GW and was astonished at the variety of Salvias. I am so glad to have discovered them, through a member of my gardening group who gave everyone cuttings a few years ago. Now we all have the same (unnamed) one!
